Thank you all for responding to my query. Here is the more info regarding my case:
1) I switched to another company on EAD.
2) I worked for GC sponsoring company for over 2.5 years after filing I-485.
3) My current job title and responsibilities are almost same as earlier one.
Today I got a text message from USCIS with an RFE. I am still waiting for the letter in the mail.
Now:
1) What are all the documentation I need from my new (Current) employer apart from Employment Verification letter (EVL)?
2) Can i continue to work for the current employer while my case is in suspended state?
3) Can someone please provide me the EVL format?

There are little problems and there are big ones, but the view regarding the size is always subjective. If person cannot get EAD in time and get fired+loses GC, it will be a big problem for someone. I think people can discuss what they want. Maybe IV can create a FAQ for EAD/AP questions as a lot of them are the same? People who want to focus on the big issues will be able to make big changes, but we cannot force people to focus on the issue we think are the most important to us.

Thanks for the replies. I was suggested with an alternative option as below.
"Transfer H1 to F1 , get CPT and work for my same employer till labor and 140 gets approved. Once the approval is done, renew the H1 and transfer back to H1 from F1."

But be careful dude .... Don't forget that betrayer is also indian :) Keep your options open when going for re-marriage - Do NOT rush ! Benchmark the behaviour patterns and the transformation path of your current spouse with the new ones before signing another set of bond papers ....
If you are getting emotionally drained an FYI for you is that there are tons of counsellors at US to help you out... and i believe your insurance would cover the 1st 100 visits (apart from 10-15 deductible) This is a common problem there...
unfortunately only a lawyer can tell you that and make sure that you get a good one. if you are legally married then you need to separate legally. hopefully kids are not involved ..it takes time to get unattached emotionally but there is always a better partner somewhere ..one of my friends was separated recently and his lawyer bill was around 35 K ..but he was trying to get custody and he did not succeed ..as I said - laws are slighltly tilted towards women (which is logical for most cases) - think of it as a game of gamble --- you made a very bad costly bet and thought that she was the one for you ..unfortunately it wasnot (it could be equal fault since u need two hands to clap) ... but the correct solution is always the best ..move away from her legally - cut all contacts and start looking for a new partner ..which country are you from ..if India, then keep in mind that there are atleast few hundred million potential partners ..you just need to find the one for you.

Who says that spouse's I-485 cannot be filed after the principal applicant's GC is approved. I just checked the latest I-485 instructions document [ http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485instr.pdf ]. Just read the section "Who may file form I-485", section 2A very carefully. It clearly states that the derivative I-485 can be filed anytime after the principal's approval.
The conventional wisdom that the spouse cannot file GC as a dependent after principal's approval is all baloney.
Its not that one cannot file for spouse after getting gc, it becomes difficult for the spouse to get an entry into the US and will have to longer period of time to get here.

Can a mailing receipt be used as proof that the transfer documents were sent to USCIS?
Nope. It is my understanding that you need atleast the Receipt number before you can start working for a new company.

You should be fine. You at least got chance to correct by RFE we all who were affected a couple of years ago got denials directly. With MTR we got back on track again then.
Just send your AC 21 and EVL and other relevent docs as required and you will be fine.

Let's say I switch to another employer using AC21 while waiting for I-485 approval. Then, I-485 is denied due to a simple reason like insufficient funds. Do I have to go through the GC process all over again, or can I just fix the problem and re-file I-485 using the old priority date?

As per my company lawyer 485 cannot be denied on insufficent funds/ability to pay etc ..this check is made at I-140 stage.
As per him 485 can be denied for health reasons, criminal background reasons or non compatibility of current job with the labor details...does anyone have a different opinion?

I work as a product manager managing a $100 MM product line. My company has operations in London, Frankfurt, Seoul, Tokyo and HongKong.
I was wondering if I should take a transfer to any one of those countries work there for 12-14 months and then take a transfer back in here on L1A. There is a chance I might be able to take advantage of EB1 then?

You should be admitted for the full 3 year period indicated on the I-797. At the port of entry, make sure that you show the CBP Officer the extension approval notice and highlight the validity dates. Then, before leaving the inspection area, inspect the "admitted until" date on your I-94 and those of your family members. If any of the dates are not correct (or difficult to read) politely request that the CBP Officer fix the problem. (THIS SHOULD REALLY BE STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR ANYONE ENTERING THE US IN NON-IMMIGRANT STATUS)
You might want to direct the officer's attention to Chapter 15, Sec. 4(h) of the CBP INSPECTOR�S FIELD MANUEL which states:
"Terms of admission: Admit H-1B for validity of petition plus a maximum of 10 days prior to the validity date of the petition and up to 10 days after the expiration date [8 CFR 214.2(h)(13)].....
Terms of admission: Admit H-4 for same period as principal."
In the unlikely event that the officer insists on admitting you for only 10 days, you can return to the port of entry to request a corrected I-94, or your employer can file another I-129 petition to extend your status (w/ I-539 for your family).

His post seemed to cause quite a problem and then he was banned.
This is an actual client who paid for an evaluation and was approved. All i am saying is that before accusations are made questions should be asked and facts gathered.

In this case, if we ban the IP address of 1 member, it does block others who are in the same network that is configured to use NATing IP configuration. We do not like banning anyone and thats an extreme step which we are forced to under the curcumstances beyond our control.
Its possible that we did not intend to block anyone purposefully, but had to make a hard choice given the circumstances. If you could please share the information about the member who you suspect was banned unfairly, we will do further analysis and will get back to you soon.
