I simply use the process killer in SBSettings to kill the offending app, which takes away it's banner ad also. Is this whole wallpaper ads thing part of the iAds discussion? 'keep apps free' and all that?
Ironically this may motivate me to purhase wwf.

I was stocking games today at work and I noticed a few games that are new release.
Wii:

Cooking Mama
Blazing Angels
PS2 and PSP:
Test Drive Unlimited (YESSS!!!)

And a few other NDS games. Forgot what they were.
Anybody know about these titles specifically the Wii ported games?

Actually, a lot of companies are moving tech support and other back-office operations to India. A lot of the Indian techs will watch Friends and other American shows so they can keep a conversation up if a caller is chatty. They even make up fictitious lives in case somebody asks about their personal life.
It's actually not that different from when a lot of back-office operations were in Ireland.

Derek, like I said earlier, I'm really sorry I wasn't able to help you BEFORE you laid out your hard earned cash but you really did a GREAT job with the video. I'm sure your story, and your EXCELLENT video documenting it, will save someone else from the same outcome in the future.

Thanks Jeff. We'll chalk this up to experience. I think it will turn out for the best. I got a better computer for a lower price from an alternate vendor. Unless something goes completely haywire in the Capital One dispute office I should get my full money back since I have more documentation for Gainsaver's antics than Obama has of citizenship, and I was highly motivated to make a video that may keep some other folks from making the same blunder.
All in all, it could be worse.

If you think you'll be playing the next pokemon(like after Black and White) or think you might want any other new games in the future, I'd say go for the 3DS...if you're buying new, the extra 70 or 90 dollars allows you to future proof your purchase.
For the battery life, the physical battery is larger on the 3DS, so the fact that its dyes quicker relates to power usage for 3DS games, for DS games, you can expect better battery life that the 3+hours for 3DS games.
But if you're buying used, go for a DS lite for like 70 dollars, then sell it once you beat Pok�mon.

It's not the number of Megapixels, but the sensor size. Jamming that many MPs into a tiny sensor will not give you a good camera

It does not resolve even after reboot/hard reboot/restore.
I happen to have a list of apps that were updated/installed just before. So I am going down the list trying to figure what happened. Right now I am thinking it's the Kindle or Hulu app updates that did it.

I had a similar problem when I sold mine on eBay just refuse to complete the refund. If you are 100% certain you sent him i5 then he is scamming you. It appears he had a Core 2 Duo and wanted to get an i5 so he bought your i5, is asking for a refund and will send you back his Core 2 Duo and keep the i5.

If you're a fan of the old command and conquer series, they released Red Alert. It's pretty cool to play on a touch device. Graphics are good too. Gameplay is not as crisp as the original so I'm hoping for a new C&C to come out. It's still worth the $4.99.
