I've recently filed my 485.
In my labor and I140 I have my job title as ' Data ware house architect'.
My H1 says 'Programmer Analyst'. So while applying my 485 I menationed my current occupation as 'Programmer Analyst', which is different from what my labor and 140 says.Will this create any problem?
Please advise.

My Labor or I 140 I forgot but one of them says my salary should XXX. but I am on H1b and haven't filled 485 file yet and I am receiving lesser salary than XXX.

I was in some what similar situation but my H1 transfer was not approved to the new company and my attorney suggested moving back to the previous employer.
I guess it is possible but if your H1 transfer was approved then you might have to apply for another transfer.
I worked with company A for 6 months and then transferred H1B to new company B with whom I worked for 1.5 years. Meanwhile company A did not cancel my H1B and now when I am thinking of joining company A. Can we use older H1B petition. Is it ok to use older H1B petition or should we cancel older H1B on file and file new H1B transfer?

I concurrently filed both my I-140 and I-485 back in Oct 09. My I-140 was approved on March 18th and then nothing since. I read that by concurrent filing the process is quicker. I am on an EB1-C. My question is has anyone had any experience in the time frame for concurrent filing under the category i am under? I have checked the tracker and cannot see anyone in similar position. Time line is what i am looking for or is it a "wait and see" situation?

Please provide us more information. If you are working as a manager in IT and especially from Indian companies, USCIS is investigating the EB1C cases as there is rampant corruption and manipulation. I am not sure what you mean by EB1-C - is it china or EB1C.

The House voted Sunday night on the Senate bill for health care reform, passing it 219 to 212. President Obama won a historic victory in the struggle for health care reform Sunday as the House of Representatives passed a sweeping bill overhauling the American medical system. What does this mean for Immigration? Big hope for the future, but a lot of work remains to be done.
Tens of thousands of people turned out on Washington's National Mall on Sunday to support the Obama administration in its next big battle, a renewed effort to overhaul U.S. immigration laws.
Speaking by video to the crowd, President Obama said he would do "everything in my power" to get a bipartisan deal within the year.
"You know as well as I do that this won't be easy, and it won't happen overnight," Obama said. "But if we work together across ethnic, state and party lines, we can build a future worthy of our history as a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws."
Though overshadowed by the historic debate on health care taking place in the nearby halls of Congress, Sunday's rally set the stage for a revival of efforts to reshape U.S. immigration law. At this time, we are trying get to all contract details(start to end client) and file new h1b petition (CAP Exempt) on premium processing and Lawyers are suggesting me to go for Counslar Processing.
I want to know What are options have to selected on I-129 for counslar processing (I am going through Lawyer However, I want to ensure that we are selecting right one)
On I-129 Form, Part 2,
Question 2: Basis for Classification (Check one):
a. New employment (including new employer filing H-1B extension).
b. Continuation of previously approved employment without change with the
same employer.
c. Change in previously approved employment
d. New concurrent employment.
e. Change of employer
f. Amended petition
Question 5: Requested Action (Check one):
a. Notify the office in Part 4 so the person(s) can obtain a visa or be admitted.
(NOTE: a petition is not required for an E-1 or E-2 visa).
b. Change the person(s)' status and extend their stay since the person(s) are all

I am a labour substitution case pd feb 2002 filed 140 in June at NSC. My 140 has been pending for more than a year. Now recently I received 2 year ead.
Does this imply my 140 is approved too???
Is it safe to work on ead of one gets 2 year ead with pending 140.??

I do not understand why they grant EADs when your I-140 is not approved. The reason I bring this up is if a person loses his/her job and your I-140 is revoked, the EAD is useless. You cannot use AC21 for that because your I-140 is not approved.
Nebraska center is doing nothing regarding I-140 EB-3 (India) apps. The I-140 date at Nebraska has beeing moving by 1 day per month for the last 7-8 months. It is stuck at March 30th 2007. Moreover, the latest "as of" i.e. "report" date that you see on Nebraska is July 31st 2008. It is not current (Sept 2008) as many of you may think.
I understand that they receive 1000s of applications but that is no excuse for incompetence. As of July 31st, it was taking them 1 year and 4 months and now it is 1 year and 6 months to process I-140.
Why don't they re-institute expedited I-140 approval?

I also asked my company lawyer and they are suggesting that since her status is H4 she can not work. For working on EAD she has to leave country and reenter on AP.

That is not true. If she has her own EAD, she can start working anytime. Whenever she does that, she will automatically abandon H4 and her status will automatically become AOS.
